Referral Program Rules
Last updated: 13 August 2026
English is the controlling legal version.
Planned program — not yet active
These rules do not take effect until Potato Mart activates a referral program whose backend qualification and voucher controls match them. Displaying these rules, a code or an informational referral screen is not an offer, and Copy and Share controls may remain unavailable until activation.
When activated, the referral program is intended to reward eligible Potato Mart customers who introduce eligible new customers. Participation will be governed by these rules, the referral page shown at the time, and applicable law. Potato Mart will confirm activation through an official channel.
1. Eligibility and participation
A referrer must have an eligible Potato Mart customer account in good standing and use the exact referral code issued to that account. A referred friend must be genuinely new to Potato Mart and meet the eligibility information displayed when the program is active. Employees, contractors, automated accounts and persons excluded by a published campaign condition may be ineligible. Participation is voluntary. Potato Mart may require reasonable identity, account, order and payment checks before recognising a qualification event or issuing a voucher.
2. Five-friend program cap
The planned program allows referral benefits for up to five eligible friends per referrer, unless an activated offer expressly states a lower limit. An invitation, registration or entered code does not by itself reserve a place. A friend counts toward the cap when Potato Mart records the applicable qualifying event under the active program. Attempts to divide one identity across multiple accounts, recycle deleted accounts or use another person’s account to avoid the cap may be rejected.
3. Friend profile-completion benefit
Under the planned terms, an eligible new friend who uses a valid code and completes the required profile to 100% may receive a $5-off voucher. The activated referral page will identify the fields and checks required for completion. The voucher is intended to require a minimum order of $50, be usable for an eligible delivery or pickup order, and remain valid for 30 days after issue. A profile that is incomplete, false, duplicated or unverifiable will not qualify.
4. Referrer first-order benefit
Under the planned terms, the referrer may receive a $5-off voucher after an eligible referred friend completes and pays for their first qualifying Potato Mart order. The qualifying order is intended to have a minimum value of $50 and may be an eligible delivery or pickup order. Cancelled, refunded, reversed, fraudulent or otherwise ineligible orders do not qualify and may result in a voucher being withheld or reversed. The friend’s profile-completion voucher and the referrer’s first-order voucher are separate qualification events.
5. Order value and voucher validity
Unless the activated offer states otherwise, the $50 minimum is assessed on eligible merchandise after excluded items, discounts and credits and before delivery fees or other non-merchandise charges. Each $5 voucher is intended to expire 30 days after issue. The exact issue and expiry times recorded by Potato Mart control. A voucher cannot be extended, replaced or converted merely because it was not used before expiry, except where required by law or Potato Mart expressly agrees otherwise.
6. Delivery, pickup and exclusions
A referral voucher is planned for eligible delivery or pickup orders placed through supported Potato Mart checkout channels. Product, category, service area, payment method or regulatory exclusions may apply when clearly disclosed. Alcohol and other regulated products remain subject to age, licensing and delivery requirements and may be excluded from a promotion. A referral voucher does not guarantee stock, delivery availability, acceptance of an order or a particular fulfilment time.
7. Codes and account ownership
A referral code remains associated with the account to which Potato Mart issued it. It is not money or property, cannot be sold or transferred, and may not be advertised through misleading, unsolicited or unlawful communications. The code must be used exactly as supported by the active checkout or sign-up flow. Potato Mart is not responsible for a mistyped, altered, expired or unsupported code, or for a code entered after the relevant qualification point.
9. Fraud and prohibited conduct
Self-referral, fabricated identities, multiple accounts for one person, coordinated account cycling, payment manipulation, automated registrations, misleading promotion of a code and any attempt to manufacture a qualification event are prohibited. Potato Mart may investigate, delay, reject or reverse a benefit where it reasonably suspects error, abuse or fraud. We may suspend referral access or an account in accordance with applicable terms while checks occur. This does not affect rights a customer may have concerning a legitimate purchase or payment.
10. Verification, errors and reversals
Potato Mart’s records of profile completion, referral association, order status, payment settlement, issue time and cap usage determine qualification, subject to correction of proven error and applicable law. A pending display is not confirmation that a voucher has been earned. If a qualifying order is cancelled, refunded, charged back or found ineligible, Potato Mart may cancel an unredeemed voucher or account for an already used benefit where lawful and reasonable. Customers may contact support with evidence if they believe a result is incorrect.
11. Suspension, modification and termination
Subject to applicable law, Potato Mart may prospectively pause, modify or end the program, change eligibility or qualification rules, or stop issuing new vouchers. Reasons may include fraud, security, technical failure, supplier or market change, legal requirements, unsustainable use or correction of an obvious error. We will not describe a material change in a misleading way. A notice will state how the change affects existing valid vouchers where reasonably practicable, and mandatory consumer rights will continue to apply.
12. General terms
The referral program is promotional and separate from the purchase of goods. These rules operate with Potato Mart’s Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and the offer details displayed at activation. If an activated offer conflicts with these rules, the more specific published offer term applies to that offer unless it would remove a mandatory right. Potato Mart may correct clerical or technical errors and make decisions needed to administer the program fairly. Any unenforceable provision is limited to the minimum extent necessary without affecting the remaining provisions.
Questions about the program
Contact Potato Mart through the published support channel if an activated referral benefit appears incorrect. Do not publish another person’s private information or send passwords or full payment-card details. Potato Mart may request reasonable evidence needed to review the account, referral and order records.
