How to place an order

Placing an order takes you from a product page to a paid order: sign in, add products, review your cart, choose delivery or pick-up, apply any savings you hold, pay, and then check the order under Orders in your account.

1. Step 1

   Create an account or sign in

   Create an account with your email address and a password of at least ten characters, then enter the code we email you, because checkout does not start until that address is verified. If you already have an account, sign in instead: adding a product while signed out sends you to the sign-in page and returns you to the product afterwards.

2. Step 2

   Add products to your cart

   Open a product, set the quantity with the minus and plus buttons, then add it to your cart. Stock is checked again at that moment, so a product that has just sold out is reported as currently unavailable instead of being added, and the cart panel opens as soon as an item goes in.

3. Step 3

   Review your cart

   Open your cart to change a quantity with the minus and plus buttons, remove a single line, or clear the cart entirely. This is also where you can enter a coupon code before you go any further. When the list is right, continue to checkout.

4. Step 4

   Choose delivery or pick-up

   Choose a fulfilment method at checkout. Delivery asks for your shipping address and, where a time window is offered, the delivery service confirms it. Pick-up books no delivery slot at all and asks only for a contact name and number. Your billing address, email address and an optional order note are asked for either way.

5. Step 5

   Apply your savings

   In the wallet and savings step you can apply one coupon or one voucher, redeem membership points up to the limit this order allows, and choose which gift cards to draw on and in which order. The review panel recalculates the total after every change.

6. Step 6

   Choose a payment method and pay

   The payment picker lists only the methods your device and your order actually support, so choose one and continue to secure payment. When the savings you applied already cover the whole amount, no payment is needed and the button places the order directly.

7. Step 7

   Check the order afterwards

   Payment returns you to a status page that shows the checkout, order, payment, fulfilment and readiness states together with your order number. The same order stays under Orders in your account, where an invoice becomes available once payment has settled.
