Gift Cards Terms of Use
Last updated: 26 June 2026
English is the controlling legal version.
These terms apply to Potato Mart gift cards purchased or received through the Potato Mart website or app.
Issuer
Potato Mart gift cards are issued by Potato Mart Pty Ltd. By purchasing, receiving, or redeeming a gift card, you agree to these terms.
Purchase and activation
Gift cards are purchased and activated through the Potato Mart website or app and are automatically added to the purchaser's or recipient's account once payment is confirmed.
Expiry and fees
Gift cards are valid for at least 3 years from the date of purchase, in line with Australian consumer law. We do not charge account-keeping, inactivity, or other post-purchase fees that would reduce the value of your gift card.
Redemption
Gift cards can be redeemed as payment towards eligible orders on the Potato Mart website or in the app. Gift cards are not redeemable or exchangeable for cash, except where required by law.
Lost or stolen cards
Because gift cards are stored digitally in your account, keep your account secure. If you believe your account or gift card balance has been accessed without authorisation, contact us immediately.
Refunds and cancellations
Gift card purchases are generally final. If an order paid for with a gift card is refunded, the refunded amount is returned to the gift card balance used, unless a cash refund is required by law.
Limits and fraud prevention
We may set minimum and maximum purchase and balance limits, and may delay, decline, or cancel a gift card transaction where we reasonably suspect fraud, error, or misuse.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will not reduce the remaining balance or expiry period of a gift card you already hold.
